New Brunswick Issues 699 Invitations Across Immigration Pathways

New Brunswick has released new immigration invitation results, showing continued demand for skilled workers, graduates, Francophone candidates, and employer-supported applicants.

The latest selection activity took place on June 3 and June 4, 2026, across several New Brunswick immigration pathways, including the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program and the Atlantic Immigration Program.

Based on the invitation numbers reported across the six rounds, New Brunswick issued or selected 699 candidates.

Which pathways were included?

The latest rounds included:

  • New Brunswick Express Entry Stream
  • New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream
  • New Brunswick Strategic Initiative
  • Atlantic Immigration Program

The largest number of invitations came through the Skilled Worker Stream, especially for candidates under the New Brunswick Experience and New Brunswick Graduates pathways.

This matters because New Brunswick continues to focus on applicants who already have a strong connection to the province through work, study, job offers, French-language ability, or employer support.

Priority occupations

The selected occupational categories included several areas that New Brunswick continues to target, such as:

  • health care
  • construction trades
  • education, social and community services
  • manufacturing
  • professional and IT occupations
  • transportation
  • sales and service
  • other trades under the Atlantic Immigration Program

This pattern shows that New Brunswick is not simply inviting candidates randomly. The province is selecting profiles that match specific labour-market needs.

What this means for candidates

This is positive news for candidates who already have a strong connection to New Brunswick.

However, invitation numbers alone do not tell the full story. A candidate should not assume they qualify only because their occupation appeared in the latest selection round.

New Brunswick immigration pathways can be highly specific. Your eligibility may depend on your job offer, employer, work location, occupation, language ability, previous study in the province, or connection to a targeted pathway.

Who may be in a stronger position?

Candidates may have a stronger profile if they have:

  • a valid job offer from an eligible New Brunswick employer;
  • work experience in New Brunswick;
  • graduation from an eligible New Brunswick institution;
  • experience in one of the targeted sectors;
  • French-language ability for Strategic Initiative pathways;
  • an employer involved in the Atlantic Immigration Program.

Still, each pathway has its own requirements. Being in a selected occupation does not guarantee an invitation, nomination, or permanent residence.

Final note

New Brunswick remains an important immigration option for skilled workers, international graduates, Francophone applicants, and candidates with employer support.

But the weak approach is to look only at the draw number. The stronger approach is to check whether your profile fits the specific pathway, employer requirements, timing, and selected occupation categories.

If you are considering New Brunswick immigration, review your eligibility carefully before submitting an Expression of Interest or employer-supported application.
